update !!

We have several important announcements this month and a few new things! This month will mainly be focused on "starting fresh"; a lot of members have left and a lot of character drops have happened recently, so we know how muse destroying those things can be. So this month will be mostly focused on re-dos, edits, drops, or even the re-showing of old characters - starting clean to hopefully jumpstart bad muse!

First thing we're going to talk about is staff changes! First thing to mention is Zee has left us. We can't speak on why, but she has left not only the team, but the site. This brings us to lighter news; for those who didn't already know, we have new mods! Lyhe, Dessy and Nara are joining Chai on the mod team and the beloved staff team. You're free to go to them for any questions and/or concerns just as much as the admins, as they're here to also help make Re-Bye a safe and fun place. So welcome them to the staff team - we couldn't ask for anyone better to help keep the site in order! We also have a meet the staff thread where you can learn all about your fellow staff and what they're in charge of, so make sure to check it out!

Next are member awards! As most of you may have noticed, the member awards are broken. Due to this, we have a knew way of doing awards to make it easier on staff. The member awards claim was made to make it easier to not only give out awards for related events or activities, but also to fix them if they break again in the future. All you do is use one of the two codes designed to your needs, and staff will get to them as soon as possible. For those still with broken awards, we encourage you to use the thread so we can get them fixed for everyone. Of course, more information is in the link provided!

We have also updated our rules! In the past, we had an issue with faceclaim hoarding. The new rule - found here - will hopefully prevent that! But if you really, REALLY have to use another face from a band, you can buy it as an extra in the site shop!

We also have a brand new Idolgee! reaction thread! It works similar to the reaction threads during KCHOICE!, only for Idol!gee! It's something we thought would be incredibly fun and a good way to get involved with the articles ICly. Any character can respond to any article, old or new, and hopefully it's entertaining for both you to write and others to read! You can find the thread here as well as more information, so get reacting!

As usual, we have our bimonthly activity check this month, but things are going to be a little different. Because of lack of muses, and any re-dos or edits being made, all we're asking for is a simple check-in and nothing more, simply stating who you're keeping and who you're tossing. If you're making an edit, change, or doing a re-do, all you need to do is state you did one of those and write a short description on what's different, so everyone will be aware. You do not have to feel pressured to keep a character, and don't be scared about changing anything; this is entirely to start fresh and try to get muses up and running. All you need to do is get an admin to read over the change and once approved, post it in the AC and you're good. Easy and quick, and you can get a more in-depth view in the activity check thread!

Now we're going to move on to this month's events; we have both an OOC one, which is the main focus and the big one, and an IC one, which is more smaller and minor, but still something to partake in!

To start, we're gonna talk about the OOC events, which is a redux! As stated previously, this month will be starting fresh and new, since we've lost a lot of members and characters and we know a lot of muses are dead, so that's the main focus on this month, and all of our OOC events accommodate that.

First we have the Swap n Shop! With the recent drop of characters and absence of members, a lot of people have lost other characters that were very important to them either plot-wise or character-wise. We know how heartbreaking that can be and how much it can destroy muse whenyou lose an important character to yours. So basically, the swap n shop is a thread where you can advertise any of your important wanteds, and where anyone can come in and snag them up - even with an already existing character! If you take a wanted, maybe that person will take your wanted in exchange, which is the swap! A wanted for a wanted! If you take a wanted, you not only get a badge, but you also get one free buy in the site shop. Anything for free! This will hopefully help people get those super important characters back that may have been lost. Of course, more information can be found in the thread here so check it out!

We also have a July survey! It's something super easy and just a way to get to know about the members in our Re-Bye family. It can be either a voice meme or text - whichever you feel comfortable with, and it's just something fun to get to know our Re-Bye members a little more and feel more connected. Do not feel pressured to do this, because it's entirely optional - we just love hearing from you! The survey can be found here.

Now we're going to move on to our IC events! The event is based around Pride, and we made sure to create events that everyone and every character can be involved in - LGBTQ+ or not.

For anyone who has been following Idol!gee, same-sex marriage was just announced as legal in Korea! That's right! Everyone in the LGBTQ+ community can now legally marry! It's the biggest news Korea has ever had. The Pride parade this year is the biggest parade that's ever happened in Korea, as the LGBTQ+ community gets together to celebrate. And the best news? LGBTQ+ COUPLES CAN MARRY RIGHT THERE, ON THE SPOT, AFTER THE NEWS WAS ANNOUNCED! No more waiting! Those knots can be tied and vows said. Everyone is celebrating, and it's sure to be the celebration of a lifetime! More information on the event here!

Idol!gee is also hosting a project, called the It's Going to be Okay Project. Since the news went out, Idol!gee is asking for videos from anyone and everyone about their thoughts about the news, being gay in the industry if they're an idol, being an ally, or simply giving support! A good way to get the non-LGBTQ+ characters involved, and a fun project to see all of the characters on site's thoughts about it all. More information in the thread here!

Lastly, our last event is more of an OOC one. Show Us Your Spirit is a fun OOC event to earn a badge, where you simply have to post some kind of picture of your characters and pride related! Whether it's a picture of them wearing rainbows, drawing a picture or making an edit, anything Pride related to earn a cute badge and have some fun! More information here!

We hope this month stays chill and easy and hope that not only everyone gets muses back, but new plots start with the re-do! As usual, we love you all, and if you have any questions please ask.

~ Love, Re-Bye Staff

Re-doing this and making it look better, but just a thread for me to throw any sort of ideas/head-canons for potential plots/thread ideas, for anyone who may want to take them, whether it's a current member/character who just wants them, or new members/characters to get them out there or started. Also because I'm terrible at plotting with people so having this for others to look at just makes it easier.
