WEEK OF JUNE 12TH
main story - st*r fighting again, water is wet - sometimes we think y'all are bored of st*r stories, but you just keep commenting on the messiest boy band ever, so here goes again. k and en were seen by one of our sources arguing near the cm entertainment building. they clearly didn't want to be seen having their tiff, but observant ears caught that they were arguing about the direction of a song. two things - a) new songs coming? and that explains k's cryptic twitter update about st*r not breaking up. still, how much longer is cm going to let en treat his leader like garbage??
anna of rosegold describes her ideal type - on variety show ladies' party, anna of rosegold let slip a fun tidbit - she likes all kinds of boys! <3 oh boy! she just became the most popular dinner date in seoul with that one!
kakyuu in good health - this speaks for itself. much love and prayers to kakyuu and olive.
rini of delilah dishes on new comeback - the nation's girl group is prepping their comeback for this month, and rini told interviewers for vogue that this comeback will be 'sweet and summery' and that the title track is 'the best delilah song yet'. so excited for our girls!
dating news - sadly, all quiet on the dating front. send in your tips!
drool alert - thirsty noonas, set your watches. visual heartthrob nagi of st*r will be on idol o'clock this week. given the above drama, expect a lot of dirt to be dished... and if rumour is to be believed, a reappearance of the fan hat!

BREAKING DATING NEWS!! of course as soon as we said that there was no dating news and everything was quiet, boo hoo us, a massive story comes down the pipeline, and it's the most adorable thing guys. everyone knows that haena of rosegold is the most bubbly person on earth. she even blinded ji-ho won and haru chaa with her lovely nature! well, it turns out that only after a week of debuting, she is off the market. that's right, haena is dating other noted cinnamon roll hope from shiny shiny!
THIS COUPLE IS TOO CUTE FOR WORDS AAAAH! also we are eternally relieved that haena is not dating one of the fuckboys in st*r. as is probably the world. (i guess her dating nagi would be fine, but as i say that, he'll probably end up in some sort of betting ring scandal or something next week.)
share your thoughts in the comments and let's support our newest cutest couple in k-pop! hopena fighting! <3

WEEK OF 6.25
breaking news - for once, this isn't en's fault seriously did we all watch whatever the hell happened this week on idol o'clock with nagi and ji-ho won?? our comment thread exploded and i'm pretty sure there's still about forty flame wars going on in there (as well as some sort of massive fanfic shipping them together - we get it, jinsoofan69, you're good at writing smut, take your ten day ban and post that shit on wattpad and not on our server), but for the uninitiated, nagi decided to use his first appearance on idol o'clock as a an outlet for all of his anger/sass/lust, depending on who you ask, and ji-ho was just as angry/sassy/lustful back. last we checked, ji-ho issued an apology for his behavior to the public, and nagi's agency also released an apology on his behalf. that does not seem to have helped, mainly because... well, watch the embedded video and tell me what the hell is going on there. if you can out-train-wreck the two guys in your band that constantly argue in public, congratulations, you've reached a new level.
jingle's goodwill tour 2k17 - in gentler news, jingle of delilah and mani of rosegold were seen hanging out in gangnam going shopping, looking adorable as per usual. jingle had a pretty busy week, being also seen out with kakyuu of olive, celeste of vanilla, and haru, who may have just had her boyfriend stolen from her by an alien conspiracy theorist on live television. amazing that she can maintain all these friendships while her comeback is ongoing! (much as we love the rivalry, we also love the cute photos jingle and mani have been posting on their instagrams of each other!)
new favorite tv show - aside from the latest st*r disaster, everyone's favorite thread this week on idolgee! was about the new variety show double trouble. the three teams were very well-picked, i must say, even if i am personally rooting for the beautifully mismatched jinsoo and the cheshire cat duo. their chemistry is so great! based on your feedback, we're going to have weekly recap threads, much like we do for idol o'clock and music box.
hopena update - hope and haena are still dating, so there is still light and rainbows in the world. yes i will keep updating you on them, because their love is beautiful and pure.
share your thoughts in the comments! looking forward to nagi's apology, teehee <3

PRIDE PART ONE
breaking news - st*r disasters this is just hearsay, so don't quote me on it. (quote me on it, this is juicy.) but it seems that, for once, tensions aren't between k and en, but, rather k, en, rowan wonderlund, and mob! some backstage attendants have said online to netizens that it seems like k and en, the leader and second for st*r, are having some jealousy issues with rowan collaborating with them for their pride stage! only st*r could turn something as pure as pride into a dick-measuring contest... but at least it's not en and k screaming at each other. what could this mean for cm entertainment, if st*r can't even get along with their other label-mates?
THROWDOWN!! the rosegold-delilah feud is on! in a turnaround from the jingle-mani friendship we mentioned last update, it would seem jingle and haena have been throwing shade at each other on twitter! both have apologized for being 'misunderstood', but we all know what's going on here. living for the girl group rivalries, especially since both singles from both bands have been performing neck and neck!
all the dating rumours fit to print! it wouldn't be pride with some gay gossip, and the biggest buzz has been around youtube personality skylar park being spotted with moon.light's sora. the cute little dork even had a unicorn that sora gave to him! that being said, sora was also seen with rosegold's anna, but who hasn't been seen with anna? seriously. someone stop this girl.
there is also a more scandalous spotting that was sent to us by one of our eagle-eyed readers - mani of rosegold, who we would like to remind you is seventeen years old, was seen waiting for p. charming of vcb after their stage. this wouldn't be the first time that p. has dated girls too young for him, and his former girlfriend is mani's bandmate haena! (haena is happy. she's been seen like twenty times with hope, and even went on a ride at pride with nagi. speaking of him...)
outside of pride, nagi was seen drinking and getting bombed with notorious stylist and outcast of the kwon political dynasty kyung-mi kwon... could they possibly be finding solace in each other after nagi's massive scandal with ji-ho won? there have been multiple sightings of ji-ho with haru chaa after the infamous episode of idol o'clock, suggesting that their relationship hasn't suffered the embarrassment.
finally, singsing was saved from being burned by coffee by a very gallant monster, and this is a couple i didn't realize i needed in my life. singster fighting!!
As always, submit all of your tips to us - we are planning to have more pride updates, including reviews of all the stages!

WEEK OF 6.25
breaking news - alleyways, so romantic now we know we're hard on st*r here (and some of us have a hard-on for star, looking at you jinsoofan69 and your continuing pornographic exploits in our comments section), but seriously, it seems like every week is a new slide into further depravity for them. case in point: last update, we were all content to see if nagi found solace with political dynasty heir kyung-mi kwon after they were spotted at a bar together. well, funny thing - nagi has been recovering gracefully in the media, having parlayed his embarrassment into an apparent mentorship with ji-ho won and putting together a rather funny man-on-the-street bit with him for pride. kyung-mi? oh, they were last seen sucking the face off of nagi's bandmate taku in an alley behind the swanky restaurant tavolo 24. and they apparently checked in to a hotel together. and were not being very shy about being attracted to each other. given that kyung-mi is a noted asshole, and takumi is a noted asshole, they should be very happy together. (our lead writer athanasy has a piece on kyung-mi and their particularly problematic lifestyle in the works, check it out next week loves.) someone please inform cm entertainment that their band is losing their marbles.
sasaeng alert! youtube stars crossing boundaries netizens are fully abuzz after news that popular vlogger skylar park was seen trying to enter sealight entertainment, only to be caught by sora's brother vee. this is coming off of them being seen at pride together - maybe someone took an idol's friendliness a bit too seriously??
trouble in moonlit paradise could it be that fang and vee have broken off their romance?? vee was seen going ice skating with cm actor yuuri katsuki and looking quite happy, while fang seemed displeased while having a working meal with the non-kyung-mi stylist at cm, i think his name is chen. (Editor's note: it is chen, and since he hasn't sued, we're keeping his name up here.) all of this after his latest album basically being an open-hearted love letter to vee! i guess not everyone had a good pride...
dungeon master escapes dungeon, world impressed olive seems to be gearing up for that long-awaited comeback, if the reintroduction of byeol into society is any indication. he was seen at no less than four game shops (calm down, son, duel monsters will still be sold next week), the seoul plaza food court with band member minnie, and, of course, with celeste of vanilla at her dorm. (still waiting for that dating announcement, sealight!) weirdly, this is happening around the same time that a crazy internet rumour has posited that nagi and won are the same person, and i'm pretty sure they're not because nagi doesn't have any dumbass tattoos.
idolympics! we'll have all your idolympics coverage here on idol!gee when they begin next week! skele of delilah will be this year's special idol commentator, along with the idol o'clock staff, so be sure to be there!
As always, submit all of your tips to us - but please stop submitting pictures of kyung-mi and taku making out. for the love of god. please stop.

RG: ANOTHER WAY TO SPELL DISASTER?
by athanasywe've all been along with rosegold for a while. we know their ups and downs, their victories and defeats: and, on that note, it's been mostly defeats and downs instead of victories and ups. when it comes to scandals in the music industry, rosegold remains undefeated as the queens, with news such as kidnapping, life-threatening illness going unchecked by the company, boy-craziness, dating scandals with the underage idols, and twitter wars floating around constantly. this has sparked a huge wave of controversy over them and what they've done, and with their win over long-reigning top girl group delilah at the mama music awards, netizens have gone digging for whatever dirt they could find on our favorite rookie girl group.
but, as it turns out, they didn't need to do all that much: in a shocking video, mani of rosegold (formerly? read more about that later) made an announcement on vlive here, revealing that she's dating siu byeol, choreographer at sealight records. this wouldn't be the first time that a cm group member has been found to be dating a member of the sealight staff (see: kwon kyung-mi and sumeragi takumi (taku of st*r)), nor the first time that mani has been seen fraternizing with someone older than her in sealight (also see: monster of d*cht, p-charming of vcb). si-u is also byeol from olive's brother.
this news still has been a shock to many, with fans both defending and criticizing her harshly, some mocking, some saying that they're going to drop rosegold because of this. there hasn't been an official response from sealight yet, but several idols have responded to the post with positive viewpoints on the whole situation: which makes us wonder, which ones knew and which didn't? in the coming days, though, there's bound to be more information on it all - and idolgee, of course, will be here to update you as it goes along!
by Exdeteighty7 Studios have started airing their newest reality show hit, KCHOICE!, to record breaking viewership. For anyone that might have missed the announcement, BOSS, CM Entertainment, and Sealight Records (plus some independent agencies) have sent some of their top trainees to compete for a chance to be a part of a legendary supergroup decided on by viewer voting.
They've pulled out all the stops, bringing in famous leaders Haena from ROSEGOLD and Vee from Moon.Light as mentors for the first episode and challenging their adorable trainee competitors to work together to complete some tasks around the dorms while they trained with their mentors.
Even though tensions over beloved favorites are high, KCHOICE! has opened their forums for the public to post their opinions on the competitors, competition, and of course, who they think will make it into the final eight.
K-POP IDOLS CHANGING THE TIDES
by Dan BermanAs everyone who has been following Kpop the past year has learned, the topic of LGBT rights is one very dear to a lot of people within the industry. In the past few months, several idols have come out either supporting or as part of the LGBT movement, including many members of CM's ST*R, multi-talented Yuuri Katsuki, and Sealight's Fang and Vee. This changing tide, as well as the support of the general public, has led to some calls in the National Assembly to introduce legislation giving more rights to LGBT individuals in South Korea. The main topic of debate? Gay marriage. Words on the floor of the Assembly became so heated that sessions were recessed for two days last week. An impassioned speech by Choi Jun-Ha (adopted father of Fang and birth father of Justice of Shiny-Shiny and his siblings) opened the proceedings on a high note, but members of other political parties quickly turned the debate into something more akin to a riot. The National Assembly convenes again on Wednesday, but gay marriage discussion will be tabled until next week at the earliest.
A NEW FASHION CRAZE SWEEPING THE INDUSTRY
by Ryoko OtonashiSpring is quickly approaching, and with it, a whole slough of new comebacks to watch out for! In the next few months, we're looking for Delilah, Queens, Vanilla, MMM, Moon Usa G, Modern Love and so many more it makes my head spin! But what's even more head-spinning is the daring fashion choices a few idols are making lately.
Most intruiging is the fact that several normally glib idols are opting for darker hair choices for this upcoming season! Both K of ST*R (who are rumored to be coming back soon, eek!) and Kakyuu of Olive have reported to Twitter to show off their brand-new black tresses. While it's not unusual for idols to sport dark hair through the sunny months (see Justice of Shiny-Shiny, pictured left), it's certainly a daring choice that I personally would like to see followed more!
Stay tuned for more fashion updates weekly, including rundowns of comeback outfits soon!

KCHOICE! Draws to an End
by ExdetAs the final rounds of KChoice are wrapping up, we’re taking a deeper look at some of the idols-to-be that have graced our screens over the past 2 months. What are your thoughts? Voting is now open here!
First on our list: Jina, the resident ice queen since she stepped onto the KCHOICE! stage, trailing mystery and suspense behind her one worded answers wherever she goes. While the talent is obviously there, there hasn't been a significant connection between her and the viewers, which could really put a damper on her chances of making it into the final 8. Will her final performance be enough?
Jinsun Moon caught the eyes and heart of fans and idols alike - his support video from Mitsuki Koyama sparked a lot of rumors. Is his fanbase really ready to let him fall back into relative obscurity when a real-life Romeo and Juliet could unfold right before our eyes?
And everyone who's been following kpop in the past year knows Anna Baek, originally part of powerhouse quartet Rosegold. The boy crazy cousin of RG leader Haena was pushed into the competition alongside groupmate Mani (who abruptly left the competition and our thoughts go out to her) after the group's untimely hiatus this winter, and everyone knows it was only a cash grab. But despite that, her popularity has skyrocketed over the course of the competition. Could she enter the top 8? And if so, what does that spell out for Rosegold's future, if it even still has one?
There have actually been several people in similar situations, it seems like. Former member of disbanded group NTShade, Jishen Gan has been trying to prove that he still has the ability to put himself out there as an idol. Has BOSS made a mistake trying to pit the 24 year old against younger (and ostensibly more talented) trainees, or is this a calculated ploy to have a strong performer end up in the final 8 instead of restarting his career in a company-centered group that might fail?
Kyung-Hu started off this competition sugary sweet and polite, and I, like most people, expected her to be a huge pushover. But while she has the face and the manners of a soft girl group visual, she's stepped up her game for the last challenges and proven herself to be a fierce competitor. But is it too little too late? It's in the voters hands to decide if she's ready for the spotlight.
Despite Cora's beauty being less than traditional, the CM Entertainment trainee has had her ups and downs. She might be a deadly beauty, but is she really ready for the big leagues if she can't keep up a steady performance across the board?
For a rapper from a small-time company, Mayuta seems to have what it takes to go far. The question is - will it carry him to the final 8, or does he still need time to hone his craft? And a better question - does he HAVE the time if he's not at one of the Big Three?
Sairung has one of the most difficult names to spell in the competition, but it doesn't seem to be holding her back any. She hasn't pulled any punches, proving over and over again that she might not be Korean but that doesn't make her not perfect for the kpop world. Let's just hope her fans can find her name on the list without getting lost on the way.
While he hasn't done the best job at differentiating himself from other trainees from his company, Kyu-bok seems to have a nice little following. It remains to be seen if he's worth that attention, but as adorable as he is, he's certainly likely to get a good shot at the top 8 solely for his aegyo.
Similarly, Yufei Bo is widely considered to be the cutest trainee in the competition. Will her fans and popularity pull through for her after a performance a lot of people are saying is reminiscent of the lumbering of the elephants she’s admitted liking?
Popularity isn’t really everything, after all. Jayeon is a well-known favorite from Sealight Records' batch of trainees and came into this competition with a lot of spunk and famous idols rooting for her. But is she everything she's made out to be? Week after week, she's fallen short of being the best despite her apparently giving her all. Does she have the skills to make it or does the fan favorite need more time to train?
Training time seemed to be a common failing with the groups the industry sent in. So-Ri Han, at a fresh 14, is our youngest competitor with the least experience - and it shows. Is she even old enough to be doing any of the things she's been asked to? Her performances have left plenty of viewers feeling like they're watching a child pageant show... but to each their own, I guess.
Ah Yitzhi, too, is one of the younger contestants on KChoice, and it shows - amongst the older, more mature contestants, his age is almost flaunted in order to play off of his charming, cute image. Despite his obvious passion for the stage, there’s a definite lack of technical skill between him and other trainees. There’s also his charmingly youthful but undeniably less mature way of speaking during interviews to his bright, mismatched clothing choices, which begs the question of whether he’s even mature enough to debut, and whether he’ll be a burden to the group or not if he does.
Also – what’s with all the foreign competitors? Waverly Vann was critiqued a lot for being foreign prior to the competition. But have her personality and performances saved her a spot? ... It's unlikely, but the girl can dream. Marie Chatte-Park’s Korean and performances have both been good to land her some spots as a fan favorite, but it’s sort of unfair to pair her with other people who didn’t have the same opportunities she had as practically royalty. After all, Yaling Zhou came in late to the competition, and from our reports doesn't even know much Korean - making her potential debut problematic with her groupmates, to say the least. But her performances have certainly brought plenty of others to their knees - KChoice could do much worse. Like, for example, Asuka Langley-Soryu. An admission of physical weakness out of a mostly-white girl in a competition like this? What was Asuka thinking? Clearly she really wasn't. Will she be able to pull herself to the top 8, or has she already doomed her chances before they were even really there? Doubtful, to be perfectly honest, but we'll just have to wait and see.
All in the family seems to be the theme for Myeong, who has outright stated that she entered CM as a trainee to spend more time with her father. Whether or not that’s a good motivation for someone entering the idol life, it has to be wondered if she really has the drive to make it in this competition – or whether she would be a good fit for the final 8 when she hasn’t exactly said much to endear her to fans.
Speaking of family, Rini Tsukino was among many peoples' top picks at the start of the competition, but her performances have left many things to be desired as the younger sister of one of the mentors. Has she stepped out of her sister's shadow enough to stand on her own in the industry?
She isn’t alone in that thought either. Younger sister to Kyu from MMM, Kysah is yet another person with famous connections in the competition, but unlike her brother’s hip-hop image, Kysah is a pastel pink saccharine sweetheart, earning a devoted following of male fans. Her unparalleled aegyo and naturally innocent aura as well as her milk-white reputation have gotten her a lot of attention during the competition, while netizens and antis point out the fact that she doesn’t seem particularly talented (especially with different concepts), despite her likable personality.
Then there’s Dallas, pretty-boy and would-be charmer and flatterer extraordinare, who seems to be riding on the fame of his in-industry brothers. Will he be able to distance himself from them and make his big break, or is he bound to obscurity like his brothers, who haven't been able to break out themselves?
There are also competitors whose parents have been in the industry, which certainly makes some of the competition feel old. There was a lot of controversy following Chantara's entrance into the KCHOICE! competition, but the daughter of the ex-BABYGIRLZ vocalist (the one who wasn’t Ji-Hae Kang, our oldest competitor who’s shown us time and time again she still has it) has been laying on the charm thick since the beginning. Will her personality and talents be enough to earn her the points to override the Mæw family's bad luck?
On the other hand - Hyunwoo is infamously K from St*r’s younger brother, but rather than ride off of his brother’s fame, he seems determined to make his path on his own. The success he’s had on that front, however, is debatable - especially with how him being mildly curt in an episode pulled in netizen criticism that arguably rivaled K’s own at his time of debut.
Speaking of attitudes, what even was John Doe’s interview? Or any of his showcases? It feels like he doesn’t even want to be here… so why is he?
And what about Yu-Ri Ohm? With a (travesty of a) predebut single already released, we thought people would already be rooting for him. But his villain edits have been the most talked about part of our forums so far. Whether deserved or not, the stunt he pulled this last week has landed him in hot water with OLIVE leader Kyung-Ja Ou herself for the second time in history. If by some miracle his talent and controversy win out, what does that spell out for the rest of our final 8?
Ming’s concept even now before her debut seems controversial enough, but paired with her lukewarm performances and her sort of star charisma that KChoice fans seem to be looking for? She’s gotten a lot of criticism from netizens about whether she’s even fit to be an idol at heart (especially with her curt interview) but her solid hard work and determination seem to be carrying her through so far.
Speaking of which, Dohyeon Im is probably the closest KChoice got to a traditional 'bad boy' (simmer down fangirls, Yurio and John don’t count) – and he likes to lead, but is he a good leader? Specifically - will he still be a part of people's prospective #Top8 after his sharp downtick in personality since Tadasuke Akatsuki's injury? Yikes.
Also – Buhu? More like Baehu! This dark, handsome trainee has been a visual and talented star since the beginning of the competition, making him a surprising fan favorite. But is he really a team player ready to put his skills into a group dynamic? His lack luster personality and apparent disinterest at being a part of the competition at all might cost him majorly when the final votes are cast.
I'm not sure that it's even fair that Gun is competing with the rest of these trainees- are we sure he's playing with a full deck? While he's been cute to watch and has some talent, there's a distinct lack of intellectual drive missing that makes me second guess.
Similarly but on a much better note, Taedae Mo's guitar may have gotten more love than she has - but that's saying a lot. Taedae is a fan favorite by far, but will her dreamy personality cause her to suffer through a debut?
(Also - Does anyone know where Lynn came from? She has performed near the top with each of her challenges, but I've never seen or heard of her before this. Where is BOSS hiding all of these people?? Furthermore, everyone knows Jae Coghlan as the Halloween girl, but is there more to her than meets the eye? No... really, I'm asking all of you readers, is there more?)
There were a lot of disapproving comments in the KCHOICE! forums when Chaihong was announced to be leaving the BOSS dungeon to compete. Is a group-building kpop idol competition really the place for an aspiring actress to get her face seen or has she finally seen the light and figured out where her future lies?
Another confusing entry to the competition came in the form of straight faced Jiyoung, the heir to the Park acting legacy. Seeing his determination and focus during the competition has turned a lot of viewers to his side, but while he obviously has the skills and the know how to make it in this industry, the question of whether his personality is best suited to a group still remains.
Endearing isn’t exactly a word that anyone would use in reference to Jangeun, who made it quite clear what she thought of the competition – and those who are in it with her. Will her strong woman mantra carry her the rest of the way and land her a spot in the final 8, or will she – in paraphrased words from her interview – cut off her head, metaphorically, and fail to gain the support she needs?
Well… that’s it, folks. Remember to tune into the KChoice forums and let us know what you think by tweeting @idolgee-HQ or using the tag #KpopFlops! Until next time!
REST IN PEACE?
by Jae-in ParkTragic occurrences are not unusual to the Kpop world in recent times, and it seems that trouble still clusters together whenever it decides to strike. Jin Dong, father of Sealight’s Fang and CM’s Yokwe, was killed in a vehicular accident in Tokyo on March 16th, allegedly during a chase by local police. Clear reports aren’t available to outline what happened before the accident, but it’s been said that Jin made threatening remarks to Yokwe’s boyfriend, CM’s Sol, at his hotel in Tokyo.
Sol was in Tokyo for his most recent tour series, and allegedly had an epileptic health scare as a direct result of the reported confrontation. In the aftermath of the incident, it was widely assumed that the tour would be canceled or rescheduled – but the show must go on as many Kpop artists know by heart, and Yokwe caught a flight to Tokyo to be with his significant other, and seemed to give him the strength to perform at his best despite the would-be scandal.
One has to wonder what was going on to warrant such a convoluted situation occurring, and why there seems to be very little sadness from the artists themselves after the loss of their father. Are Fang and Yokwe seeking to slander the name of their late father and distance themselves from his legacy, or was there really something behind their reactions to his death and lack of filial piety that would be normally expected?
Beyond the fact that Yokwe is a child born out of wedlock and only a half-brother to Fang, the latter whom has been adopted by his aunt and uncle and lived with them since he was fourteen years old. It seems that even our most well-known idols aren’t immune to troublesome family life, which adds a bit more humanity to public figures that so many see as untouchable.
BOSS PR SCANDAL INCOMING
by Daniel BermanAn anonymous someone from BOSS's staff has leaked rumors to Idolgee! about abuse towards their idols- specifically idols that have come out, willingly or not.
The letter to our editor did not mention any names but mentioned several different instances of some of the top BOSS idols being forced into silence about their sexualities and genders and having their contracts threatened if any of the information were to slip to the public. Yikes! Apparently not even our on-stage skinship is sacred to the BOSS higher ups, because too much of it could get an idol or an entire group as a whole fined by their management team.
While most of the company's and artists' fans might would reference concrete instances of their favorite idols being spotted in public with people of the opposite gender, the staff leaker has informed us that stunts like that are pulled all the time to "prove an idol's heterosexuality" to their fan base for publicity. Idols are forced into them to distract the fans from any scandals that might be happening. Pretty sneaky dealings there, BOSS.
The news has cast a pretty negative light on BOSS considering how the other top companies in the Big 3, CM Entertainment and Sealight Records both, have handled their own recent outing scandals with grace and maturity. We just have one question for BOSS if this information is true- and we can assure our readers that the source is genuine- how is a company so bent on "keeping up with the times" so backwards with how they treat their artists?
With the strong push for the same-sex marriage bill to pass soon, how is BOSS going to respond to these allegations? More importantly, how much longer are their artists going to stay silent now that the news has been outed?

June 1st, 2018
by AnonymousThe moment everyone's been waiting for is finally here! 8ctagon's debut single, Excited, is hitting the shelves later this month (June 18th to be exact) - but 87studios has decided to tease us all with previews of their new music video and comeback images! Ugh, I don't think I can handle it! What's it even going to be like? Some images are very classy, some are pretty sexy, and the one everyone is talking about - with the band members all cuddling together under a pastel blanket fort that makes you (or certainly CM Entertainment if the rumors are true) feel the nostalgia - is so adorable! Here's hoping their sound lives up to the hype, especially with all those clashing styles.
MODERN LOVE'S MAKNAE FINALLY REVEALED!
by Anonymousafter announcing the revamp of dearly beloved after school special, fans and kpop enthusiasts had been curious about the mysterious maknae with stage name 'ray', as no one have heard of her ever before - and her entire identity hadn't been revealed, sometimes even a mere secret to boss interns - but now, with the latest comeback and re-debut as modern love, the true identity spreads quite some controversy even among fans from the beginning!
modern love's maknae ray, or even better known by her birth name eun sinbi, is the oldest daughter of jia sinbi, an influential man in the general entertainment industry, who apparently ran away from home several years ago. some even rumoured she stole her father's beloved necklace ...
but her family is not the only point fans get suspicious about - many also accuses her of being guilty for cm's trainee john doe leaving his former company, sealight records! he recently gained more attention due to his participation in kchoice, and with both events, kchoice and modern love's long-awaited re-debut, especially their past relationship is of the public's interest, although all three companies don't want to state a thing about this.
even as everything is more speculation than facts and figures by now, ray's past does spread contrary among true and loyal fans ... will it, maybe, end in an even harder time for freshly re-debuted modern love? although ray can be seen as an adequate addition to the well-known voices of old after school special, some say she should have stayed where she came from - in hiding.
SAME SEX MARRIAGE BILL PUSHING FORWARD
by Daniel BermanTo the surprise of many, the bill proposed back in March to end the ban on same-sex marriage is finally seeing the light of day. Thanks to the hard work of lobbyists, legislators and social media petitions, the bill will be coming into vote later this month, with the referendum passing or failing after that.
KINA'S SOLO DEBUT
by EightThe world has had it in for CM Entertainment’s breakout girl group ROSEGOLD, with the beginning of the end signalling when vocalist Fullmoon (Mitsuki Koyama) was admitted to hospital due to a collapse in the middle of their December Comeback and has to undergo surgery in order to save her life. Six months on, she returns to the stage in order to perform but not in the way that many of the Rose Army were hoping for. May marks the solo debut of ‘Kina’ (a renamed Fullmoon) as she takes to the stage on her own for the first time. This received much criticism from fans as it was seen as a sign that she would not be returning to ROSEGOLD. I beg to differ.
Her stage was beautiful, with moon motifs and a song that was beautiful in addition to impactful. We’re all used to Fullmoon’s silver and blonde hair, but Kina returns with brunette locks and very normal attire. Jean shorts, tucked in shirt and good ol’ sneakers are what she wears on stage. A statement that she’s back and better than ever. Moon symbols projected onto the stage with ‘New Future’ plastered in the centre added to the effect. Kina is here to claim her future. Does this mean she’s not returning to ROSEGOLD? Nope. I believe this is her statement to the world. She’s back and better than ever. After these performances I believe that future prospects for ROSEGOLD are looking up.
